Suze Ann Eichhorn, 88, of Bluffton, IN, and a former resident of Huntington, IN, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at 9:45 a.m. at Christian Care Retirement Community, in Bluffton.

Mrs. Eichhorn, a 1942 graduate of Bluffton High School, was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Bluffton, and attended the Northview Church of Christ, Huntington. She volunteered at Huntington North High School for more than 20 years, serving as a teacher's aide for mentally handicapped children, and was a recipient of the Pathfinder Services LaMont Award. She had been a member of the Dandelion Club for more than 45 years, also serving as past president, and was a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority. She was a volunteer for The Salvation Army.

She was born Sept. 29, 1924, in Bluffton to C. Frank and Ethel Rex Ulmer. She married Robert P. Eichhorn on Feb. 18, 1946, at the First Baptist Church Bluffton. He preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 1996.

Calling is Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, from noon to 2 p.m., with a service following at 2 p.m., at the Thoma/Rich, Chaney & Lemler Funeral Home, 308 W. Washington St., Bluffton. Jeff Lemler will officiate. Burial will be at the Six Mile Cemetery, Bluffton.
