Florence Pauline Schell, 103, of Huntington, IN, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at 9:50 a.m. at The Heritage of Huntington.

Mrs. Schell graduated from Huntington High School in 1927. She worked in the boys' department of Wolf and Dessauer Department Store from 1957 to 1969. She was a member of Central Christian Church and Delta Theta Tau Sorority.

She was born July 21, 1909, in Logansport to Carl and Alta Bowman Smith. She married Austin H. Schell on Dec. 10, 1932. He preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 1972.

Survivors include a son, John A. Schell, of Fort Wayne; a daughter, Barbara A. (David) Myers, of Topeka; five grandchildren, Stephanie Kennedy, of Indianapolis; Chris Schell, of Huntington; Anne Misschell Shellenbarger, of Caledonia, MI; John Myers, of Fort Wayne; and David Andrew Myers, of Belgrade, MT; and five great-grandchildren.

Calling is Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A service will be held at the mortuary on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at 11 am., with Dr. Sam Young officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.
