Jessie Elizabeth Wines, 95, of Gas City, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at 4:30 a.m.
Mr. Wines worked in the cafeteria of Owens-Illinois Glass for 36 years and later at the Onized Club House.
She was born Nov. 4, 1917, in Silver Lake to John and Amy Enos. She married Robert Moore in 1938, and he preceded her in death in October of 1970. She married Edward Wines in June of 1988, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 2008.
Survivors include three sons, Robert (Judy) Moore, of Gas City; John (Karen) Moore, of Huntington; and Jim (Wanda) Moore, of Upland; two daughters, Janie (Doug) King, of Clarkston, MI, and Susie (John) Simpkins, of Gas City; a stepson, Joe Wines; a stepdaughter, Jim (Sharon) Wines; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
A service was held on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church, Gas City, with Rev. Doug Davies officiating. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery.
Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, Gas City, was in charge of arrangements.
