Robert S. Glass, 88, of Warren, IN, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at 6:26 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Mr. Glass earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University. He moved to Florida in 1980, returning to the Warren area 27 years later. He was a member of the Solid Rock United Methodist Church, in Warren.

He married Martha L. Boxell on Oct.21, 1951. His wife survives.

Additional survivors include two sons, David (Donna) Glass, of Charlotte, NC, and Gary (Stacey) Glass, of Fort Wane; a daughter, Barbara (Timothy) McHone, of Apopka, FL; a brother, DeWayne Glass, of North Manchester; two sisters, Margaret Gall, of Decatur, IL, and Shirley Lima, of Parker, TX; and four grandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a service following at 7 p.m., at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren.

Preferred memorials are gifts to Solid Rock United Methodist Church, Warren; the church's building fund; or the Heritage Pointe woodworking shop.
