Dennis Elton Butler, 65, of Bluffton, IN, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at 3:15 a.m. at Bluffton Regional Hospital, Bluffton.

Mr. Butler graduated from Leipsic High School, Leipsic, OH, in 1965. He was a security guard at G4S Company in Bluffton, and prior to that he drove truck for 30 years and delivered cargo for five years. He also worked as a warehouse man for five years.

He was born Oct. 1, 1947, in Detroit, MI, to Doyle and Virginia (Honekker) Butler. Dennis married Barbara Dishong on Feb. 24, 1973 in Bluffton. She survives.

Additional survivors include a daughter, Tracy Arlene Butler, of Huntington; five brothers, Keith Butler, of Atlanta, GA; Bob Butler of Ottawa, OH; Gary Butler and Rick Butler, both of Leipsic, OH; and Bill Butler of Klida, Ohio; a sister, Dianna Spangler, of Cloverdale, OH; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Calling is Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the mortuary, with one hour of visitation prior to the services. Rev. Ray Seilhamer will be officiating. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery, Huntington.
