Patricia Ann McElhaney, 84, of Huntington, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at 2:12 p.m. at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

Mrs. McElhaney had been employed as an LPN at Huntington Hospital and in the office of Dr. Smith. She had also worked at Miller's Merry Manor and Huntington Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Huntington.

She was born Oct. 20, 1928, in Huntington to Emery C. and Lulu Fuchshuber Farley. She married Fred L. McElhaney on Jan. 5, 1946, in Warsaw. Her husband survives.

Additional survivors include four sons, Ted (Janet) McElhaney, Jim (Tena) McElhaney and David (Vicki) McElhaney, all of Huntington, and Mark (Dianne) McElhaney, of Benson, AZ; a daughter, Lisa Mitchell, of Huntington; a sister, Lois Pearson, of Sarasota, CA; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Calling is Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, Huntington. A service will be held on Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 648 N. LaFontaine St., Huntington. Dr. Richard Lofgren will officiate. Burial will be at Star of Hope Cemetery, Huntington.
