John Andrew "Andy" Saul, 97, of Midland, MI, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at 6:47 a.m. at his daughter's residence in rural Van Buren, IN.

Mr. Saul graduated from Harrison (MI) High School in 1933. He was a farmer and later worked at Holley Carburetor for 10 years and Dow Chemical for 15 years.

He was born Nov. 17, 1915, in Harrison, MI, to Frank and Gertrude Hoover Saul. He married Anita Mavis Smalley on Aug. 18, 1942, in Clare, MI. His wife preceded him in death after 66 years of marriage.

Survivors include a daughter, Ellen (Jesse) Moon, of Van Buren; three granddaughters, Amy McCreery, of Muncie; Ellen (Chris) Rice, of Huntington, and Susan Mallernee, of Fort Wayne; and three great-great-granddaughters.
