Alfred 'Ted' Husband

Alfred "Ted" Husband, 96, of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at 4:45 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mr. Husband attended Roanoke High School. He was retired from farming in Jackson Township.
He was born June 1, 1916, in Huntington County to George and Mary "Bessie" Houser Husband. He married Claribel Hibbert on Dec. 10, 1938. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Anita Swaidner, of Huntington, and Susan (Daniel) Herndon, of Roanoke; a sister, Mary Burton; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Calling is Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington. A service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery, Roanoke.
Memorial gifts may be made to Christ United Methodist church or the charity of the donor's choice in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home.
