David L. Stump, 82, of Fort Wayne, IN, and a native of Roanoke, IN, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013.

Mr. Stump served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Tokheim for 37 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church.

He was born in Roanoke to Fred and Olive Schulien Stump. He is survived by his wife, Mary.

Additional survivors include a son, Anthony "Tony" (Delaine) Stump, of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Joann (Mark) Holly, of Cincinnati, OH, and Amy (Les) Williams, of Fort Wayne; a brother, Jerry (Marjorie) Stump, of Bloomington, IL; three sisters, Freda (Gail) Cole, of Bradenton Beach, FL; Shirley Smith, of Fort Wayne; and Sharon (Vinny) Purcaro, of Jupiter, FL; a brother-in-law, Don Scheiber, of Huntington; 16 grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 4:30 p.m., at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at St.Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, Fort Wayne.
