Clara Patrick, 92, of Kendallville, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville.
Mrs. Patrick retired in 1982 from Electric Motors in Garrett. She was a member of Community Baptist Church in Wolcottville and a member of RSVP.
She was born in Vest, KY, to Thomas and Rebecca Handshoe Fitch. She married Aster Patrick in March 1937 in War, WV. Her husband preceded her in death on March 17, 1972.
Survivors include three sons, Robert (Linda) Patrick, of Morganton, NC; Rodney Patrick, of Avilla; and Thomas (Karen) Patrick, of Kendallville; six daughters, Eunice (Donald) Boyles, of Plano, TX; Margie (Melvin) Cox, of Huntington; Bethel (Don) Buckles, of Avilla; Barbara Ann (Dick) Hawkins, of Convoy, OH; Janet (Jerry) Wellman, of Kimmell; and Teresa Sullivan, of Avilla; 24 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A service was held on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Brazzell Funeral Home, Avilla Chapel, with Rev. Lee Combs officiating. Burial was at Rehobeth Cemetery, rural Albion.
