Francis E. "Fritz" Williams, 72, of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at 3:16 p.m. at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

Mr. Williams retired as superintendent of Weston Hills Golf Course in Weston, FL, where he had been employed for more than 20 years. Prior to moving to Florida, he had worked in maintenance at Schenkel's Dairy, Huntington, for 21 years.

He was born Sept. 22, 1940, in Huntington to Virgil and Georgianna Foster Williams.

Survivors include three sons, Fritz Williams, of Los Angeles, CA; Troy Williams, of Huntington; and Tracy (Donna) Williams, of Tampa, FL; four daughters, Toni (John) Quickery, Nicole Williams and Alexandria "Alex" (Philip) Eckert, all of Huntington, and Teri Palmer, of Denville, NJ; two brothers, Paul (Ann) Williams, of Florida, and William Williams, of Fort Wayne; a sister, Sue (Wayne) Hinds, of Huntington; a brother-in-law, Steve Scher, of Huntington; a sister-in-law, Marlene Williams, of Huntington; 13 grandchildren, Kaitlin Kelly, Nathan Quickery, Lillian Calo, Grace Palmer, Tara Anderson, Synclair Williams, Mikayla Williams, Ian Williams, Austine LaFlower, Cassi Howell, Aubrie Eckert, Sophie Eckert and Jackson Eckert; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a service following at 6 p.m., at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington. Rev. William Rapp will officiate. Private burial will be held at a later date.
