Freman 'Curly' Neher

Freman "Curly" Neher, 93, of Warsaw, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at 10:10 p.m. at his home.
Mr. Neher served in the United States Army during World War II. He worked for Gatke Inc. for 37 years, retiring in 1974. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 49, Warsaw.
He was born Feb. 16, 1919, in Rochester to Herman and Mabel Mreed Neher. He married Amy Berniece Perry on Aug. 19, 1942, in Redondo Beach, CA. His wife preceded him in death on March 7, 2005.
Survivors include a daughter, Anne Marie (Don) Grimm, of Warsaw; a son, Stephen Neher, of Warsaw; four sisters, Cordela (Paul) Taylor, of Sun City, AZ; Audry (Rich) Stephan, of Bippus, FL; Maxine Venner, of Huntington; and Gazetta (Skeet) Haines, of Crawfordsville; and a grandson, Andrew Grimm, of Warsaw.
There is no calling or service. Burial will be at a later date.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
