Glen G. Frederick Jr., 86, died at 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Oakbrook Village, Huntington, IN.

Mr. Frederick served in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired from H.K. Porter and was a member of Healing Waters Ministry Church, in Majenica.

He was born Oct. 23, 1926, in Bippus to Glenn and Ida Reiken Frederick. He married Jannette Crooks Herring on Feb. 21, 1970, and she survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Jamie Allen Frederick, of Fort Wayne; three daughters, Jacqueline Snider and Michelle (Jeffrey) Kline, both of Huntington, and Peggy (Bill) Meads, of Roanoke; a stepdaughter, Ann Waters, of Fort Wayne; a brother, Robert (Kathy) Frederick, of Huntington; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a stepgrandchild.

Calling is Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington. A service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Wayne Couch officiating. Burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
