Larry L. Kiefer, 61, of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at 3:55 p.m. at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN.

Mr. Kiefer graduated from Huntington North High School. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Huntington. He retired in 2009 from the City of Huntington Street Department.

He was born Jan. 8, 1952, in Huntington to Ray and Wanda Lawson Kiefer.

Surviving are a brother, Frank Kiefer, of Huntington; a sister, Lucy (Tim) Gibson, of Huntington; and a sister-in-law, Cindy Kiefer, of Huntington.

Calling is Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. John Pfister presiding. A private burial at Mt. Calvary will be at a later date.
