David W. Dragstrem, 71, of Wabash, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
Mr. Dragstrem graduated from Somerset High School in 1960. He owned Dragstrem Plumbing and Heating and retired from McClure Oil in Marion. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He was born June 22, 1941, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Darwin R. and Opal Swartz Dragstrem. He married Alice J. Billiard on Aug. 19, 1961, and she survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Bernice (Michael) Collins, of Huntington; a brother, Steve (Cindy) Dragstrem, of Marion; and two sisters, Barbara Bournique, of Cincinnati, OH, and Patty Miller, of Wabash.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the Mississinewa Cemetery, Somerset, with the message given by Greg Vaughn. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb.16, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3641W-100S, Wabash.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
