Michael D. Auginbaugh, 59, of North Manchester, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at 9:24 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Mr. Aughinbaugh worked as a heating and cooling contractor. He had also been a driver and volunteer firefighter with the North Manchester and Chester Township fire departments.

He was born Feb. 18, 1953, and is survived by his mother, Melva Gilbert, of North Manchester. He married Virginia L. Keirn on Nov. 20, 1970, and she survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Bob (Tiann) Aughinbaugh, of Huntington; a daughter, Michelle (Troy) Wilcoxson, of Columbia city; a brother, Steve Aughinbaugh, of Texas; two sisters, Kris Marshall and Kay Aughinbaugh, both of North Manchester; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at 6 p.m., with calling two hours prior to the service, at Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut St., North Manchester. Rev. J.P. Freeman will officiate.
