Earl E. Welch, 83, of Warren, IN, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at 1:20 a.m. at the Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
Mr. Welch retired from Dana Corporation. He was a member of the Hillcrest Church of the Nazarene, Warren. A 1947 graduate of Montpelier High School, he served with the United States Army in Alaska.
He was born Oct. 8, 1929, in Madison County to John Estle and Margaret Parker Welch. His first marriage was to Agnes Scott, who preceded him in death in 1962. He married Alberta "Bertie" Pasquariello on Dec. 6, 1963, in Montpelier, and she also preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, E. Estle (Janet) Welch, of Arizona, and Jess P. (Mollie) Welch, of Huntington; two daughters, Donna (John) Campbell, of Warren, and Diana Welch Carroll, of Andrews; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Calling is Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Glancy-H.Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. A service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at 11 am., with calling one hour prior to the service, at Hillcrest Church of the Nazarene, 406 E. 1st St., Warren. Rev. Mark Davis and Rev. Clyde Gunn will officiate. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren.
