Lillian Williams, 99, of Hot Springs Village, AR, and having family members in Huntington County, IN, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at her home.
Mrs. Williams graduated from business college. She worked for Lincoln Life Insurance Company, Fort Wayne, and later with the WPA. She had lived in Fort Wayne; New Orleans, LA; Hong Kong; New York, NY; and Wilmington, DE, before moving to Hot Springs Village in 1972. She founded the Women's Golf Association in Hot Springs Village and was a member of the Woodlands Presbyterian Church.
She was born Oct. 28, 1913, in Wabash County to Frances and Walter Bowman. Her first marriage was in 1938 to J.B. Donnally, who preceded her in death in 1978. She married Lester Williams in 1983, and he survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Patti (John Brunk) Leathers, of Overland Park, KS; a son, John (Phyllis) Donnally, of Dallas, TX; four stepchildren; two sisters; a niece, Kathryn Trisler, of Huntington County; a brother; six grandchildren; many step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A service will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Woodlands Presbyterian Church, Hot Springs Village, AR. Her ashes will be interred at the Woodlands Memorial Garden and at Restland Memorial Gardens in Dallas, TX.
Memorial gifts may be made to Arkansas Hospice Foundation or Woodlands Presbyterian Church, Hot Springs Village, AR.
