Eugene E. 'Gene' Hoffman

Eugene E. "Gene" Hoffman, 71, of Fort Wayne, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013.
Mr. Hoffman retired from Dana after 35 years of service. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and the NRA.
He was born Sept. 6, 1941, to Herman F. and Frances C. Landstoffer Hoffman.
He is survived by a sister, Mary Johnson, of Yoder, and Ken Hoffman, of Ossian; and several nieces and nephews including Mark (Deanne) Hoffman, of Huntington.
Calling is Friday, March 1, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 7:45 p.m., at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 10 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Road, Yoder. Burial will be at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
Memorial gifts may be made to the church for Masses, Visiting Nurse Hospice Home, Women's Care Center or the Father Solanus Guild.
