Dick Harvey, 78, of Warsaw, and having family members in Huntington, died Monday, March 4, 2013, at 12:10 a.m. at his home.
Mr. Harvey served in the United States Navy from 1951 to 1955 and was assigned to the destroyer USS Eversole during the Korean War. He was a self-employed exterminator for more than 50 years as owner and operator of Warsaw Pest Control.
He was a life member of American Legion Post 15 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 286, both in Wabash, the Korean War Veterans Association, National Rifle Association and Ducks Unlimited.
He was born Aug. 13, 1934, in Wabash to J.B. and Delight Lindemuth Harvey. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dawn Graves Harvey.
Additional survivors include a son, Bret (Sarah) Adams Harvey, of Huntington; and two grandchildren, Claire Harvey and Will Harvey, both of Huntington.
There will be no calling or service.
