Mildred L. Judd, 93, of South Whitley, IN, and a native of Huntington County, IN, died Saturday morning, March 2, 2013, at her home.
Mrs. Judd graduated from Jefferson Center High School and attended Grace College, Winona Lake. She had worked for the former Blue Bell, in Columbia City, and worked for Heckman Bindery, in North Manchester, for 17 years, retiring in 1977 as a supervisor. She moved to Cherokee Village, AR, in 1977, and returned to the area in 1993. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, South Whitley.
She was born April 8, 1919, in Huntington County to Avery and Florence Keiser George. She married Lester A. Judd on March 25, 1939, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 30, 2002.
Survivors include a brother, Lester George, of Fort Wayne; and a sister, Irene Smith, of Columbia City.
A service was held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley, with Rev. Toni Brewster officiating. Burial will be at St. Matthew's Cemetery, Columbia City.
