Edward Lewis Caley, 86, of Fort Wayne, IN, and a former resident of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mr. Caley was a United States Army veteran who served in World War II. He owned Caley Insurance for 11 years and worked as a tool room machinist for many years before retiring in 1978.
He was born in Huntington to Dorman and Georgianna Emley Caley. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Delores Martin Caley.
Additional survivors include three sons, Bernard Caley, of Churubusco; Charles Caley, of Fort Wayne; and Roger Caley, of Evansville; a brother, Robert (Cathryn) Caley, of Huntington; two sisters, Shirley Larr and Shelby Jean Osborn, both of Huntington; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
A service was held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne. Burial was at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
