Ruby R. Pyle

Ruby R. Pyle, 84, of Fort Wayne, IN, and a former resident of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at the Towne House Retirement Center, Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Pyle had worked at People's Savings and Loan Association, W.A. Bucher and Sons of Huntington and in the offices of Pyle Industries. She was a volunteer at Lutheran Hospital. She was a member of Emmanuel Community Church, Psi Iota Xi in Huntington and Lutheran Health Services Society.
She was born July 31, 1928, in Huntington to Archie J. and Georgia Smith Grice. She married Frank L. Pyle Sr. on May 16, 1975, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include three stepsons, Frank (Eve) Pyle Jr., of Fort Wayne; William (Martha) Pyle, of Huntington; and Thomas (Carol) Pyle, of Tucson, AZ; a half-sister, Anne Sutton, of Michigan; 15 step-grandchildren; and 16 step-great-grandchildren.
A service was held on Monday, March 18, 2013, at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, Fort Wayne. Entombment was at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.
Memorial gifts may be made to Hope House of Lutheran Hospital or the Huntington County Community Foundation Frank L. Pyle Sr. Scholarship Fund.
