Jaqueline L. 'Jackie' Shumaker

Jacqueline L. "Jackie" Shumaker, 80, of North Manchester, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Monday, March 25, 2013, at 8:46 p.m. at Wabash County Hospital, Wabash.
Mrs. Shumaker had been employed at Triwec in North Manchester for 17 years and at Custom Magnetics in North Manchester for another 17 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of the Ijamsville United Methodist Church, in Ijamsville, and was a graduate of Central High School, North Manchester.
She was born July 29, 1932, in Wabash County to Charles Wilbur and Helen Smeltzley Collins. She married Billy G. Shumaker on Sept. 11, 1955. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Frank (Sharon) Shumaker, of Columbia City, and Paul Douglas (Jenny) Shumaker, of Warsaw; two daughters, Peggy (Vaughn) Callahan, of Huntington, and Betty (Rick) Gressley, of Lagro; a half-brother, John Steven (Toni) Cave, of North Manchester; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Calling is Wednesday, March 27, 2013, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind.-114 West, North Manchester. A service will be held at the mortuary on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Kent Harting officiating. Burial will be at Laketon Cemetery, Laketon.
