Thelma Louise Beck, 89, of Heritage Pointe, Warren, IN, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at 2:27 a.m. at the Bluffton Regional Medical Center, Bluffton.

Mrs. Beck was a former resident of the Van Buren area. She worked on the family farm for most of her life, was a Watkins dealer in the Van Buren area for many years and worked as a dietitian at Bradner Village (now Miller's Merry Manor), in Marion, for 25 years.

She was a 1942 graduate of Jefferson Center High School, Huntington County. She was a member of the Van Buren United Methodist Church, Van Buren, and a member of the Service Sunday School Class at the church.

She was born Dec. 6, 1923, in Huntington County to Roy and Daisy Kem Campbell. She was raised by her stepmother, Eva Louise Campbell. She married LeRoy E. Beck on July 17, 1943, in Warren. Her husband preceded her in death on Dec. 18, 2007.

Survivors include five sons, Tony (Pamela) Beck, of Keystone; Roger (Benita) Beck, of Marion; Max (Mary Alice) Beck, of Gas City; and Jerry (Stephanie ) Beck and Dale (Denise) Beck, both of Van Buren; a daughter, Daisy (Dennis) Dawson, of Markle; two brothers, Robert Campbell, of Grover Town, and Steve Campbell, of Ohio; 21 grandchildren, Tim (Lisa) Beck, Andy (Mandy) Beck, Ryan (Jodi) Beck, Scott Beck, Eric Beck, Adam (Macon) Beck, Dalen Beck, John Jacobs, Jared Jacobs, Stacy (Scott) Clupper, Tiffany (Bill) Bailey, Trisha (Matt) Knebel, Tanya (Andrew) Brock, Michele (Kurt) Maymard, Andreal (Jason) Legge, Katie Beck, Hilary Beck, Rachael Probst, Lyndsay (Josh) Darling, Lacey Probst and Diane (Justin) Carroll; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Monday, April 1, 2013, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Van Buren. A service will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Van Buren United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, across the street from the church, with Rev. Leon Pomeroy officiating. Interment will be at the Van Buren Cemetery, Van Buren.
