Alice E. Hiatt

Alice Edna Hiatt, 92, of Muncie, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Wednesday evening, March 27, 2013, at The Waters of Yorktown.
Mrs. Hiatt came to the United States from England in 1946 and became a United States citizen in 1967. She sold Vanda Beauty Counselor Cosmetics for 20 years. She was active in the Muncie Civic Theatre and was a member of the English Club.
She was born Feb. 26, 1921, in England to William and Anne White Jackson. She married Robert "Bob" Hiatt, who preceded her in death in 2007.
Survivors include a son, Keith (Linda) Hiatt, of Muncie; a daughter, Alison (Kurt) Vanner, of Huntington; a sister, Una Lennam, of British Columbia; two grandsons, Daniel (Melissa) Hiatt, of Yorktown, and Mark (Ferreh) Hiatt, of Muncie; six great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
A private service was held at Jones Cemetery.

Meeks Mortuary, Muncie, was in charge of arrangements.
