Nadean Juanita Lange

Nadean Juanita Lange, 90, of Columbia City, IN, and formerly of Huntington, IN, died Friday, April 5, 2013, at 5:37 p.m. at Parkview Hospital, Columbia City.

Mrs. Lange was a 1940 graduate of Huntington High School. She was the school secretary/treasurer for Central Elementary in Huntington for over 30 years. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and was a volunteer for the Forks of the Wabash.

She was born Nov. 30, 1922, in Huntington to John G. and Thalya Griffith Ross. Her first marriage was to John Woodrow, who was killed during World War II. She married Dwain Lange on Aug. 9, 1947, and he survives in Columbia City.

Additional survivors include a son, Jerry (Deb) Lange, of Columbia City; a daughter, Judy Beehler, of Milwaukee, WI; four grandchildren, Courtney (Terry) Reimer, of Fort Wayne, Jessica (Nate) Wright, of Churubusco and Adam and Brendan Beehler, both of Milwaukee, WI; and four great-grandchildren.

Calling is Monday, April 8, 2013, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington. A service will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with calling an hour prior. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery following the service.
