J. Brynn Jerles, 67, of North Manchester, IN, and having ties to Huntington, IN, died Friday, April 5, 2013, at 8:34 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Jerles was a registered nurse and was employed by Huntington Memorial Hospital for 28 years. She later worked at Lutheran Hospital and Dupont Hospital, both in Fort Wayne.
She earned an associate's degree in nursing from St. Petersburg (FL) Junior College, a bachelor's degree from Indiana University and a master's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. She attended Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester.
She was born May 22, 1945, in Columbus, OH, to James B. and Martha L. Johnson Jerles.
She is survived by a son, David J. Cunningham, of North Manchester; two daughters, Amanda B. (Jeff) Michel, of North Manchester, and Christi (Tom) Miller, of Kansas City, MO; a sister, Beth (Charlie) Janis, of St. Petersburg, FL; and six grandchildren, Chloe Leifer, Kyler Leifer, Elizabeth Michel, Skyler Michel, Zach Michel and Colten Miller.
Calling is Friday, April 12, 2013, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut St., North Manchester. A private service will be held.
