Elizabeth A. 'Liz' Ricker

Elizabeth A. "Liz" Ricker, 81, of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at 2:45 a.m. at Heritage Pointe, Warren.
Mrs. Ricker retired from Walgreens, where she had been employed as a clerk for 11 years. She had previously worked at E-Systems for 13 years. She was a member of Christ the King Episcopal Church, Ladies of the Moose, and American Legion Post 7 Auxiliary, all in Huntington.
She was born July 7, 1931, in Huntington to Ted and Charlotte Fields Brewer. She married Gilbert Ricker Sr. in 1949 in New Haven. Her husband preceded her in death in 1978.
She is survived by two sons, Gilbert K. Ricker Jr. and Gregory L. (Lisa) Ricker, both of Huntington; a daughter, Deborah K. Lineback, of Huntington; 10 grandchildren, Seth (Robin) Ricker, Cole Ricker, Wes Ricker, Travis Ricker, Gabriel (Ioana) Swift, Nathan Lineback, Tyler Lineback, Kortney (Chris) Burton, Brant Ricker and Kari Ricker; and four great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her companion of 25 years, William J. "Bill" Hedrick, of Andrews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 15, at 1 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at Deal-Rice Funeral Home-Huntington Chapel, 338 E. Washington St., Huntington.
