James E. Dalton Sr.

James E. Dalton Sr., 74, of Van Buren, IN, and having family members in Warren, IN, died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at 4:27 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mr. Dalton retired from Foster Forbes.
He was born May 20, 1938, in Marion to William Sr. and Pearl Shadoans Dalton. He married Vena "Opal" Dalton on Aug. 11, 1973, and she survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Michelle (Rick) Hall, of Warren; a son, James E. Dalton Jr., of Van Buren; three sisters-in-law, Judy Butcher and Mary Thompson, both of Bronston, KY, and Gloria Farrington, of Monticello, KY; and his mother-in-law, Dessie Dalton, of Bronston, KY.
A service was held on Monday, April 15, 2013, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Fuenral Service, North Chapel, Marion. Rev. Marcus Combs officiated. Burial was at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.
