Carolyn S. Snover, 76, of Huntington, IN, died Monday, April 15, 2013, at 6:20 a.m. at her home.
Mrs. Snover worked as an executive secretary at Huntington Memorial Hospital and Parkview Huntington Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 2002. She graduated in 1954 from Huntington High School. She was a member of Central Christian Church and a former member of Psi Iota Xi Sorority and Job's Daughters.
She was born Oct. 18, 1936, in Coldwater, MI, to Clyde D. and Mildred I. Berry Burnworth. She married Jack Snover on June 18, 1955, at the Congregational Christian Church, in Huntington. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Scott (Yolanda) Snover, of Fort Wayne, and Jeff (Rhonda) Snover, of North Manchester; a daughter, Julie (Glen) Lahr, of Huntington; a sister, Ann Felton, of Huntington; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Calling is Saturday, April 20, 2013, from 10 to 11 a.m., with a memorial service following at 11 a.m., a Central Christian Church, 500 MacGahan St., Huntington. Rev. Chris Hayden will officiate. Interment will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery at a later date.
