Lois Marcille Funk, 86, of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at 6:50 a.m. at The Heritage of Huntington.
Mrs. Funk was a homemaker. She graduated in 1945 from Huntington High. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Huntington, the Modern Mothers Extension Club, The Women of the Moose, American Legion Women's Auxiliary and the VFW Women's Auxiliary.
She was born Dec. 4, 1926, in Huntington to Harley Virgil and Elsie (Hite) McHenry. She married Gerald "Gene" Funk on March 2, 1947, in Huntington. He preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 2012.
Survivors include a son, Greg L. (Ann) Funk, of Kokomo; a brother, Garl D. (Ruth) McHenry, of Ohio; and two grandsons, Brian Funk and Kevin Funk, both of Kokomo.
Calling is Friday, April 19, 2013, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 10 a.m. at the mortuary, with Rev. Bill Rapp officiating. Burial will be held in Markle Cemetery, Markle.
