Larelda Ralston, 81, of Warren, IN, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Ralston graduated from Butler High School in 1948. She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm. She spent winters in Lake Istokpoga, FL, for 19 years and formerly attended the Mt. Etna United Methodist Church.
She was born June 2, 1931, in Miami County to George and Katie Eberle Gahs. She married Thurman Ralston Jr. on Oct. 30, 1949, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on July 23, 2011.
Survivors include three daughters, Ladiana (Roger) Wiley, of Huntington, and Laretta (Mike) Crago and Deb (Randy) Furnish, both of Warren; four sons, Ladean Ralston, Laverne (Karla) Ralston and Laroy Ralston, all of Warren, and Lamar (Brenda) Ralston, of Huntington; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Calling is Monday, April 22, 2013, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. A service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Rev. Sam Padgett will officiate. Interment will be at the Mt. Etna Cemetery, in Mt. Etna.
