Ruth E. DeHaven, 100, of Andrews, IN, died Monday, April 22, 2013, at 2:54 a.m. at Parkview Huntington Hospital.
Mrs. DeHaven was a lifelong homemaker and farmed with her husband. She was a graduate of Huntington High School.
She was born Jan.13, 1913, in Miami County to Riley and Alice Baker Landrum. She married LeRoy M. DeHaven in Huntington County, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Howard L. (Donna) DeHaven, of Warren; two daughters, Janet A. Moorman, of Huntington, and Judy K. Kindley, of Andrews; a sister, Dortha Lahr, of Warren; 22 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 26, at 11 a.m. at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Rev. Charles Dederick will officiate.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Mt. Etna Wesleyan Church or the Mt. Etna Fire Department.
Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, Warren, is in charge of arrangements.
