Rosie June Rapp, 64, of rural Wabash, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at 1 a.m. at Wabash County Hospital.
Mrs. Rapp graduated from Southwood High School in 1967. She retired from Singer Controls, in North Manchester, where she had been employed for 11 years. She had also worked at Magnetek, in Huntington.
She was born Jan. 29, 1949, in Wabash to Vaughn Richard and Glenna Harrell Pogue. Her mother survives in Wabash. She married Charles R. Rapp on June 21, 1968, at the Asbury United Methodist Church, and he survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Robert C. (Leales) Rapp, of Wabash; a brother, Von (Cheryl) Pogue, of Huntington; and a granddaughter, Crystal Rapp, of Wabash.
A service will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash. Calling is on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the LaFontaine I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
