Helen M. Naab, 104, of Huntington, IN, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at 7:20 p.m. at The Heritage of Huntington.
Mrs. Naab graduated from Markle High School in 1926. She had worked at Schneider Electric (formerly Square D) in Markle and Huntington for many years. She was a life member of the Markle United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She was a member of Psi Iota Xi Sorority.
She was born Aug. 20, 1908, in Huntington County to John and Verne Seibold Stockman. She married Clarence O. Naab in Huntington. They were married for more than 50 years before his death in 1980.
Survivors include a son, David (Jayne) Naab, of Huntington; a daughter, Barbara (Keith) Gilbert, of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Calling is Thursday, May 9, 2013, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a service following at 11 a.m., at the Markle United Methodist Church, 145 W. Morse St., Markle. Rev. Steve McPeek will officiate. Interment will be at the Markle Cemetery.
