Carl D. Repp

Carl David Repp, 76, of Chico, CA, and a former resident of Huntington, IN, died Monday, April 29, 2013.

Mr. Repp earned a bachelor's degree from DePauw University in 1959 and a master's degree in education from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1966. He remained in Bloomington until moving to California in 2010. He had a lifelong career in photojournalism, publishing photographs in Sports Illustrated, Newsweek and many other books and periodicals. He was an adjunct instructor in the Indiana University School of Journalism for many years.

He was born in Huntington to Carl and Dorothy Repp.

He is survived by a sister, Carolyn Knapton, of Chico, CA.

A memorial will be held on June 22 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the President's Room of the Indiana Memorial Union, Bloomington. A graveside service will be held on June 23 at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Huntington.
