Richard Lee Garrison, 74, of Warren, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at 5:30 p.m.
Mr. Garrison, a 1957 graduate of Andrews High School, served with the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1965. He was a self-employed contractor, working as R.L. Garrison, for many years and later was employed by FedEx.
He was born March 27, 1939, in Huntington to Paul E. and Bernice Lauer Garrison. He married Hattie Jane Poehler on Aug. 4, 1961, and she survives in Warren.
Additional survivors include three daughters, Lori Anne (Joe) Humbert, of Huntington; Kelly Anne (Joe) Mickelini, of Leo; and Holly Anne (Dan) Garrison-Davis, of Indianapolis; two sisters, Phyllis (Tom) Gormally, of Santa Clarita, CA, and Marie (Jim) Hunnicutt, of Warren; and six grandchildren, Corey, Garrett, Jacob, Audrey, Mick and Garrison.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2013, at 2 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, in the Applegate Chapel at Heritage Pointe, Warren. Gerald Moreland will officiate.
