Patricia S. Denton, 70, of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at 5:45 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Denton retired from Peyton's, in Bluffton. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2689 Ladies Auxiliary, Huntington; a past Fifth District president of the auxiliary; and a member of Eagles Lodge 823, Huntington. She was a 1960 graduate of Huntington Township High School.
She was born Aug. 5, 1942, in Huntington to Robert M. and Beulah J. Reavis Tobin.
Survivors include a daughter, Roberta S. Denton, of Indianapolis; a son, Dale E. Denton, of Milwaukee, WI; two sisters, Margaret Badger, of Huntington, and Betty Opliger, of Fort Wayne; three brothers, James (Carol) Tobin, of Dunellon, FL, and Jesse Tobin and Tom Tobin, both of Huntington; and one grandson, Jonathan Reeves, of Phoenix, AZ.
Calling is Sunday, May 19, 2013, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A service will be held at the mortuary on Monday, May 20, 2013, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory, Huntington County.
