Jacqueline Elizabeth Turner, 88, of Huntington, IN, died Friday, May 17, 2013, at 4:10 a.m. at The Heritage of Huntington, in Huntington.
Mrs. Turner was a homemaker and a member of the United Freewill Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge, AR.
She was born Dec. 6, 1924, in Walnut Ridge, AR, to Huvie and Zelma Allison Hackworth. She married Junior Turner on April 23, 1959, in Jonesboro, AR. He preceded her in death on Aug. 11, 1982.
Survivors include a daughter, Gloria (Morris) Hart, of Huntington; three grandchildren, Scott (Laurie) Berry, of Fort Wayne; Stephanie (Todd) Bolding, of Huntington; and Michael Berry, of Watseka, IL; two stepgrandchildren, Beth (Chad) Hamill, of Sheldon, IA, and Jason (Taberly) Hart, of Huntington; six great-grandchildren and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
Calling is Tuesday, May 21, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.at The Heritage of Huntington, 1180W-500N, Huntington. A funeral service will be held immediately after at The Heritage. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 10 a.m. in Lawrence Memorial Cemetery in Walnut Ridge, AR.
Preferred memorials are to the activity fund at The Heritage of Huntington in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN 46750.
