Thomas J. Mullis, 72, of Huntington, IN, died Friday, May 24, 2013, at 5:38 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Mr. Mullis was a self-employed contractor and owner of the former Lime City Construction Company, Tom's Woodworks and Hometown Realty. He graduated from Huntington High School in 1958. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force in January 1959 and served until December 1963.
He was born Sept. 11, 1940, in Kansas City, MO, to Otis J. and Grace L. Houser Mullis. He married Susan A. Hoover on Sept. 11, 1994, in Huntington. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include three daughters, Gail Sellers, of Kissimmee, FL; Barbra (Charles) Stubbs, of Midland, TX; and Bonnie (Jason) Riggers, of Huntington; and four grandchildren, McKenzie Stubbs, Morgan Stubbs, Gabrielle Riggers and Malachi Riggers.
Calling is Sunday, May 26, 2013, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A funeral service will be Monday, May 27, 2013, at 10 a.m. at the mortuary, with military rites performed by the VFW Post 2689. There will be no burial.
