Kenny "Pops" Miller, 81, of Roanoke, IN, died Monday, June 3, 2013, at 8:50 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mr. Miller was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was employed by the B&O Railroad and worked in construction. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He was born June 9, 1931, in Hicksville, OH, to Elmer Clarance and Ruth Burle Fry Miller. He married Betty Marie Driver on June 22, 1963, at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, Nix Settlement. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Maria (Craig) Miller-Bradley, of Fort Wayne, and Christina Miller, of Columbia City; three sons, Chad Miller and Shawn (Emily) Miller, both of Columbia City, and Evan Miller, of Roanoke; two sisters, Audrey Rider, of Nevada, and Clara (Rex) Connine, of Hicksville; four brothers, Gerald "Jerry" (Millie) Miller, of Delaware; Bernard (Bonnie) Miller, of Auburn; Walter Miller, of Butler; and Dan (Beverly) Miller, of Montpelier, OH; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Roanoke. Rev. Dale Bauman will officiate.
