Emerson B. Fisher

Emerson B. Fisher, 73, of Park Ridge, IL, and a native of Huntington County, IN, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013.
Mr. Fisher was a veteran of the United States National Guard. He was a member and trustee of the First United Methodist Church, in Park Ridge, IL; former president of the Park Ridge Country Club; a member of the Free Masons of the Antioch Lodge, in Indiana; and a lifelong member of NFPA.
He was born May 11, 1940, in Huntington County to Mark and Jeanette Bowman Fisher. His mother survives in Huntington. He is also survived by his wife of 51 years, Marilynn Miller Fisher.
Additional survivors include three daughters, Denise (Kevin) Pokrywka, Kathleen Fisher and Carolynn Fisher; a son, Matthew (Shannon) Fisher; a sister, Kathryn (Tom) Trisler, of Andrews; a brother, Glenn (Nylia) Fisher, of Andrews: and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at the First United Methodist Church, 418 W. Touhy, Park Ridge, IL. Private interment will be at Acacia Park Cemetery, Chicago, IL.
Memorial gifts may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Park Ridge, IL, or to Rainbow Hospice.
