Marjorie Eloise Karst, 78, of Indianapolis, IN, and a former resident of Huntington, IN, died Sunday, June 9, 2013, at 1:25 p.m. at her home.
Mrs. Karst attended Huntington High School. She worked at Bob's IGA and in various other jobs.
She was born March 20, 1935, in Huntington to Ralph E. and Opal B. Obenour Dolby. She married John F. Karst on July 17, 1965, in Columbia City, and her husband survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Tina Marie Strayer, of Indianapolis; a son, John F. (Heather) Karst II, of Roanoke; two brothers, Pauldene (Rusty) Dolby, of Markle, and Dennis (Ruth) Dolby, of Warsaw; a sister-in-law, Macinea Dolby, of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Calling is Thursday, June 13, 2013, from 10 a.m. to noon, with a service following at noon, at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington. Kati and John Schmucker will officiate. Interment will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.
