Jeannetta Jean Bauer, 89, of Huntington, IN, died Monday, June 17, 2013, at 2:05 a.m. at The Heritage of Huntington.
Mrs. Bauer was a homemaker. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, in Huntington, the Rosary Sodality, Daughters of Isabella and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
She was born Aug. 1, 1923, in Greenwood to Phillip Henry and Jennie Pearl Perkins Possman. She married Donald J. Bauer on Dec. 1, 1945, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, in Huntington. He preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1989.
Survivors include a son, Richard (Robin) Bauer, of Huntington; a daughter-in-law, Ann Bauer-Myers; 10 grandchildren, Tina Feller, April Bauer, Fawn White, Jeremy Bauer, Tammy Meinert, Trina Kramer, Doug Kramer, Kelsey Bauer, D.J. Bauer, and Jennifer Vigar; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Calling is Tuesday, June 18, 2013, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to Mass, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry St., Huntington. Rev. Ron Rieder will officiate.
