Marjorie Ruth Witty, 88, of Warren, IN, died Friday, June 14, 2013, at 11:51 p.m. at Heritage Pointe, in Warren.
Mrs. Witty was a former resident of Madison. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, in Madison, and had worked at Conn Organ and at King's Daughter's Hospital.
She was born Nov. 30, 1924, in Nashua, IA, to Howard and Amy Angeline Edson Miller. She married Richard Witty in 1946, and he preceded her in death after 57 years of marriage.
Survivors include three daughters, Susan (Richard) Fox, of Fort Wayne; Pamela (Scott) Jackson, of Huntington; and Catherine Witty, of Albuquerque, NM; a sister, Lorraine Bowman, Springfield, MO; a brother, Kenneth (Neena) Miller, of Anchorage, AK; five grandchildren, Gretchen Fox, Rachel Fox, Becky Capps, Amy Underwood and Kevin Jackson; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at 1:30 p.m., with calling 30 minutes prior to the service, in the Applegate Chapel at Heritage Pointe, 801 Huntington Ave., Warren. Rev. Edwin Clark and Rev. Ray Miller will officiate.
