Larry Mosher

Larry Mosher, 70, of Warsaw, IN, and a native of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, at 5:10 p.m. at his home.

Mr. Mosher, a graduate of Roanoke High School, lived at Ridinger Lake from 1962 to 1995, when he moved to Warsaw. He was a retired pressman for R.R. Donnelly and Sons in Warsaw. He served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1963 and was a member of American Legion Post 253, North Webster.

He was born Nov. 18, 1938, in Huntington to Darl and Elizabeth Nolan Mosher. He married Linda L. Burkhart on July 12, 1959, in Pierceton. She preceded him in death on Dec. 22, 2003.

Survivors include three sons, Kevin Mosher and Kent Mosher, both of Pierceton, and Kyle Mosher, of Syracuse; a brother, Tim Mosher, of Warsaw; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Rev. E.J. Underwood officiated at a private funeral service. Graveside military rites were conducted by American Legion Post 253, North Webster, at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton, was in charge of arrangements.
