Franklin W. 'Wayne' Allred

Franklin W. "Wayne" Allred, 82, of Warren, IN, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at noon at his home.
Mr. Allred graduated from West Rockcreek High School in 1950. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1951 to 1953. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He was born Jan. 3, 1931, in Huntington to Frank D. and Mary Beck Allred. He married Coleen Sparks on Dec. 2, 1951, in Huntington. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Deborah (Mike) Peek of Harlan, and Teresa (Joe) Hosler, of Huntington; three sisters, Mary Lou Haworth, of Florida; Georgia Karst, of Fort Wayne; and Marjorie Mickley, of Huntington; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Calling is Friday, June 28, 2013, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a service following at 6 p.m., at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee St., Markle.
Private interment will take place at the Markle Cemetery.
