Leslie E. 'Letty' McDaniel

Leslie E. "Letty" McDaniel, 95, of Warren, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at 6:15 p.m. at Heritage Pointe, in Warren.
Mrs. McDaniel was a high school graduate. She was a cook's assistant at Jefferson Township High School and worked at Memcor for more than 20 years. She was a member of Solid Rock United Methodist Church, Warren, and Eastern Star, in Mt. Etna.
She was born Sept. 5, 1917, in Huntington County to Leslie Elliot and Bertha Abigale Kriegbaum Day. She married James Gerald McDaniel on Sept. 5, 1937. He preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 1963.
Survivors include a son, Ronald McDaniel, of Warren; a daughter, Mona (William) True, of North Canton, OH; three grandchildren, Aaron (Tara) McDaniel, Nicholas True and Jennifer McDaniel; and two great-grandchildren.
A service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., with calling 30 minutes prior to the service, at Solid Rock United Methodist Church, 227 N. Main St., Warren. Rev. Kathy Newton will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Etna Cemetery, in Mt. Etna.
