Scott E. Archbold, 57, of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, July 11, 2013, at 12:15 p.m. at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
Mr. Archbold graduated from Huntington North High School in 1974 and earned an associate's degree in business management from Ivy Tech, Fort Wayne. He worked as a self-employed electrical contractor for 10 years and had also worked for many factories in Huntington and surrounding areas. He was a volunteer with the Mt. Etna Fire Department.
He was born Oct. 6, 1955, in Huntington County to Vaughn E. and Edna Mae Hedrick Archbold.
Survivors include two daughters, Stacey Marie (William) Loveless, of Muncie, and Jennifer (Randy) Jones, of Huntington; a brother, Steve (Judy) Archbold, of Ossian; two sisters, Cheryl (David) Crockett, of Warren, and Karen (Greg) Batt, of Huntington; and three grandchildren, Isaiah Jones, Adalynn Jones and Aubriana Jones.
Calling is Saturday, July 13, 2013, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., with a service following at 3 p.m., at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. Rev. Jeff Carrell will officiate.
Memorial gifts may be made to Visiting Nurse and Hospice, H.A.T. or Advantage Home Health Care in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary.
